The 40th edition of the Rolex Paris Masters, an ATP Tour men's tennis tournament, will be held at the Plénitude Arena at Paris La Défense from October 31 to November 8, 2026.

 

 

As the second most important tennis tournament in France after Roland-Garros, the Paris tennis tournament has changed its name several times.

Known as the Paris-Bercy Open from its inception in 1986 until 1999, then the Paris-Bercy Masters in 2000 and the BNP Paribas Masters until 2016, it adopted its current name, the Rolex Paris Masters, in 2017.

It was held at the Accor Arena (formerly the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy) until 2024 and moved to the Plénitude Arena (formerly Paris La Défense Arena) in 2025.

 

The Rolex Paris Masters is the largest men's indoor tennis tournament on the ATP circuit and belongs to the Masters 1000 category.

The Masters 1000—the second most important tier after the four Grand Slam tournaments (which include Roland-Garros)—comprises nine mandatory tournaments for players with a sufficiently high ATP ranking.

They take place between March and November in the following cities: Indian Wells (California, USA), Miami (Florida, USA), Monte-Carlo (Monaco), Madrid (Spain), Rome (Italy), Montreal and Toronto (Canada), Cincinnati (Ohio, USA), Shanghai (China), and Paris (France).

The most successful player in Masters 1000 history is Novak Djokovic; he holds the record for the most titles in the category with 40 wins, having won each of the nine tournaments at least twice.

 

Plénitude Arena—formerly Paris La Défense Arena—is Europe's largest indoor stadium, with a capacity of up to 45,000 spectators.

Located in Nanterre within the La Défense district, the Arena notably hosted the swimming events for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It will also host Céline Dion for her major stage comeback, featuring 16 dates across September and October 2026, followed by another 10 dates in May 2027.

 

The 2026 Rolex Paris Masters will mark the tournament's 40th anniversary, promising a spectacular celebration spanning everything from the opening qualifying round to the grand final.

- From Hotel Jardin Le Bréa, take Metro Line 4 at Vavin (1-minute walk) towards Porte de Clignancourt and get off at Les Halles. Then, take the RER A train towards Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Cergy-Le Haut, or Poissy, and get off at Nanterre Préfecture station. The Plénitude Arena Paris La Défense is about an 8-minute walk away.
