Trade Show: The Mayors and Local Authorities Exhibition at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles – From November 24 to 26, 2026

Categories : Fairs and Trade Shows, Nearby, published on : 10/30/26

The Mayors and Local Authorities Exhibition (Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales)—held concurrently with the Congress of Mayors and Presidents of French Intercommunal Authorities from November 24 to 26, 2026, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles—serves as the premier event for supporting local authorities in defining and implementing their regional projects.

From November 24 to 26, 2026, all attendees of the Congress of Mayors and Presidents of Intercommunal Authorities of France—held at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center—will also have the opportunity to visit the 31st edition of the Exhibition for Mayors and Local Authorities (Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales).

The Exhibition for Mayors and Local Authorities is dedicated to technical, industrial, digital, and service-oriented solutions for local government bodies.

Companies, industrial firms, start-ups, and state agencies showcase equipment and innovations designed for the management of local territories.

The event brings together over 65,670 visitors, 1,380 exhibitors, and 600 accredited journalists, and features 448 individual presentations and discussions.

The theme for this 31st edition is: "Boldness is Local" (L’Audace est locale).

"‘Boldness is Local’ embodies a firm conviction: in the face of major societal challenges and constrained budgets, it is at the local level that ideas and solutions emerge to reinvent existing models.

It reflects:

▪ The creativity and capacity for action demonstrated by elected officials and local authorities in addressing contemporary challenges.

▪ Cooperation among mayors, institutional partners, businesses, and associations to foster the development of inspiring projects.

▪ The power of local initiatives across all sectors—including housing, healthcare, mobility, culture, the natural environment, education, digital technology, and public safety."

The Mayors and Local Authorities Exhibition is held in synergy with two other complementary events:

* The Sports and Parasports Exhibition (4th edition), which focuses on key issues such as infrastructure, sports for health, connected equipment, sports technology, accessibility, and the sports economy.

* The Biodiversity and Ecological Engineering Exhibition (3rd edition), which focuses on key issues such as the protection of living organisms, agroecology, urban renaturation, ecological engineering, and public awareness.

The Mayors and Local Authorities Exhibition provides dedicated forums for discussion, covering a wide range of topics—such as land, soil and resources, quality of life and longevity, and risk prevention and management—through the following formats:

* "Atmospheres" (Les Atmosphères): Themed spaces showcasing solutions, projects, and initiatives that illustrate the implementation and acceleration of transitions at the local level.

* "Labs" (Les Labs): Spaces for participatory dialogue that combine forward-looking perspectives with concrete solutions. They highlight territorial cooperation and the drivers of transformation toward sustainable regions, using a pragmatic approach rooted in a diversity of viewpoints.

* The "Arena of Audacity" (L’Arène de l’Audace): A space dedicated to territorial innovation in all its forms—its key players, its ecosystem, and its underlying dynamics.

* "Experience Your City" spaces (Les espaces Vis-ta-Ville): Immersive environments that recreate significant, symbolic settings from everyday local life.

* "Plazas" (Les Places): Collective areas that bring together targeted expertise to showcase specific sectors, along with the solutions and offerings available within them.

The exhibition also hosts the Territorial Innovation Awards, honoring individuals who design and implement solutions that bring tangible transformation to local territories.

Attendees of the Congress of Mayors and Presidents of Intercommunal Authorities of France can easily take part in the Exhibition for Mayors and Local Authorities (Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales), as it takes place at the same time and in the same location.
