Launched in 1964 during International Food Week, the Salon International de l'Alimentation—or SIAL Paris—was originally held at the CNIT in Paris La Défense and was open to both industry professionals and the general public.
As a rapidly growing biennial even now reserved exclusively for professionals, SIAL Paris moved to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles for its fourth edition in 1970, before relocating to the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre in 1986—the venue for the upcoming 2026 edition, taking place from October 17 to 21.
SIAL Paris 2026 is the premier event for business and innovation in the food industry. Over the course of five days at Paris Nord Villepinte, it brings together 285,000 trade visitors from more than 200 countries and 7,500 exhibitors from 125 countries to showcase 400,000 food products.

Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre – 95975 Roissy-Charles de Gaulle
- From Hotel Jardin Le Bréa, take the RER B train from Port Royal (a 7-minute walk), heading towards Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 (Terminal 2), and get off at the Parc des Expositions station; the exhibition centre is then a 4-minute walk away.
The total travel time from our hotel to the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre is approximately 45 minutes.
