Categories : Fairs and Trade Shows, published on : 7/31/26
Première Vision Paris, the biannual international gathering for creative fashion professionals, will take place from September 1 to 3, 2026, at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
Held twice a year, the Première Vision Paris trade show is the key event for fashion professionals dedicated to raw material sourcing.
Over the course of three days, PV Paris brings together more than 20,000 visitors and 900 international exhibitors at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
This second 2026 edition of Première Vision is structured around eight complementary sectors:
- YARNS & FIBERS – Fibers & yarns for fashion, knitwear, and innovative textiles
- FABRICS – Fashion fabrics for ready-to-wear, luxury, and casualwear
- DESIGNS – Textile design & exclusive design studios
- ACCESSORIES & COMPONENTS – Fashion accessories & technical components
- LEATHER – Leathers & hides for fashion, leather goods, and accessories
- SMART CREATION – Eco-responsible sourcing & sustainable innovations
- MANUFACTURING – Textile manufacturing & industrial partners
- BAGS, SHOES & LEATHERWEAR – A focus on leather goods and footwear
The key theme for PV Paris September 2026 is **FASHION FACING THE FUTURE**, described as follows:
Fashion is confronting an unstable environment. Input costs are rising, growth is stagnating, and—in certain sectors—margins are seeing double-digit declines. Demand can fluctuate sharply, tying up valuable capital in unsold inventory. Preserving profitability has now become an absolute priority.
At the same time, customer expectations are reaching new heights regarding novelty, quality, transparency, and value. Product teams face new challenges: real-time data driving decisions, digital-first processes transforming design, and a fundamental question—how automation will redefine the balance between human creativity and artificial intelligence by 2030.
On the ground, the communities driving fashion forward—those guiding, conceiving, sketching, developing, sourcing, and producing the products that will define the future—are also facing a rapidly evolving work model. There are new digital design paradigms and constantly changing everyday tools. There is the imperative to respond to real-time market data and trends while designing with global awareness and sensitivity. And there is the need to integrate regulatory compliance and extended responsibility into the very heart of the creative process.
Fundamental questions also arise regarding automation and the balance to be struck between human labor and artificial intelligence in product design, development, and marketing as we approach the end of the decade.
The fashion industry views technology as a key solution.
According to *The State of Fashion 2026*, AI, digital technology, and advanced technologies represent the sector's primary opportunity today. While the impact of AI is currently most visible in creative processes—ranging from idea generation and pattern engineering to virtual photography—75% of executives primarily look to it for solutions to more structural challenges: demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and cost control.
A persistent gap remains between the adoption of digital tools and the resolution of fundamental challenges: protecting margins, evolving pricing strategies, innovating materials and processes, and expanding environmental and ethical responsibilities. Although these tools are becoming increasingly accessible to both creative teams and executive leadership, they still struggle to translate into operational solutions for the industry's key issues.
You can also attend talks and seminars at the show, as well as fashion inspiration forums.
