Paris is the capital of fashion. Paris Fashion Week, kicks off the Parisian summer from June 23 to 28, 2026. Haute Couture Week, or Haute Couture Week, from July 6 to 9, 2026, follows closely behind.
Since 1973, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) has organized Paris Fashion Week several times a year, encompassing haute couture, menswear, womenswear, ready-to-wear, and the autumn/winter and spring/summer collections.
Four major world capitals host their own Fashion Weeks: London, Milan, New York, and Paris.
Paris Fashion Week, particularly for haute couture, is the most important of these "Big Four", as they are known in the Anglo-Saxon media.
