The first retrospective in France of the work of Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) takes place in the impressive place of the Grand Palais, from September 7, 2014 to February 2, 2015.
Discover the work of this painter and sculptress who realized, with her husband Jean Tinguely, the Fontaine Stravinsky in front of Georges Pompidou Center.
175 pieces are exposed on two different floors. The first floor stages the well known « Nanas ».
The famous shots that makes « blood the painting » are on the ground floor.
Through this retrospective, return on the life on this artist who has always been out of rules and conventions.
