The Paris Book Festival, formerly the Paris Book Fair, a literary event entirely devoted to all books, authors and publishing houses, is held at the Grand Palais from April 17 to 19, 2026.

 

 

Created in 1981 by the National Publishers Association (SNE), the Paris Book Festival, formerly the Paris Book Fair, then Livre Paris before 2021, is held every year under the nave of the Grand Palais, in the heart of Paris.

 

It's the essential meeting place for over 400 authors and their publishing houses, who connect with the public through book signings.

All literary genres are represented: fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, poetry, children's literature, young adult...

 

The 2026 edition of the Paris Book Festival has as its guest of honor: comics, with two exceptional exhibitions, one devoted to illustrated romance, and the other to inner and outer journeys, and many authors present at the Grand Palais for meetings and signings.

 

For the first time, the Paris Book Festival is offering a culinary evening this year, designed to highlight the dialogue between literature and travel through food.

Also on the program for this 2026 edition is a children's village with play areas for families and young readers.

The Cabaret Extra! will return following its success at the previous Paris Book Festival, a show where literature meets the burlesque.

And finally, the Paris Book Festival will invite the global collective of "artivists" ArtLords to create a large-scale participatory mural on the themes of migration, humanity's shared journey, and transformation.

How to get to the Grand Palais from the Hotel Jardin Le Brea?

Grand Palais - 7 avenue Winston Churchill, 75008 Paris

- From the Hotel Jardin Le Brea, take metro line 13 from Montparnasse-Bienvenue (a 10-minute walk), direction Asnières-Gennevilliers Les Courtilles, get off at Champs-Elysées-Clémenceau station.

The total travel time from our hotel to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is 20 minutes.
